Mumbai: Mar 19, 2012

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2012 will be played at 12 venues over 54 days in India. Starting from April 4, 2012 to May 27, 2012 there will be 72 matches in the fifth season of IPL. The preliminary schedule has the nine franchises (teams) playing in this fifth edition.

Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra are set to be a part of the Indian Premier League's opening ceremony to be held at YMCA College of Physical Education on April 3. Apart from Bollywood stars, the 'Opening Nite' will also feature performance from a leading international artist, an IPL release stated.

The opening ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm, however, the venue gates will be thrown open to the audience from 5:00 pm.

The event will also feature all nine team captains taking the MCC Spirit of Cricket pledge, which has been on display since the competition's inception in 2008.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) organisers have tweaked the schedule of the fifth edition of the Twenty20 tournament because of the upcoming Municipal Elections in the Capital in mid April.

According to the new schedule, Delhi Daredevils will now lock horns with Deccan Chargers on April 19 instead of April 14 at the Ferozh Shah Kotla stadium.

The Qualifier 1 play-off match will feature the teams that finished the regular season in first and second place, while the eliminator play-offs will feature the sides that finished the regular season in third and fourth place.
As previously announced, the M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai will host the Qualifier 2 play-off match and the final.

Agent Vinod : Movie Reveiw

Agent Vinod: Movie Review
Saif Ali Khan in Agent VinodMore Pics

Director: Sriram Raghavan
Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor

He tries to be a Bond-cum-Bourne kind of a secret agent. More than an intelligence officer, he comes across as an action hero - a Singham over a spy. More than clothes, he changes countries. He can open any door, barge any security, escape every attack and kill any person. He has instant access to database of spies and terrorists across the globe at his fingertips. He is the man - Agent Vinod.

All of that is acceptable as long as the intended espionage thriller has an inventive storyline. But after a world tour across half a dozen countries, the film culminates with a traditional climax where the Indian capital faces a nuclear-threat. The time bomb has to be detected, decoded and deactivated. The only novelty in the narrative is that our neighbouring country is not the perpetrator. It's not the terrorists but some elite business community who spread terror around the world so that they can gain out of the sudden stock market fluctuations across the world. Ludicrous as it may sound, this is the film - Agent Vinod.

Airtel’s 4G is Not coming on March 20th 2012

Airtel's 4G is Not coming on March 20thWe are sorry to tell you that 4G is not coming to India tomorrow  there was a rumour in the Internt that Airtel will be launching 4G services in Kolkata on 20th March.
The news was also covered by a leading newspaper which took as a fire in the Indian internet space and Mass media.
As you know 3G was not so popular in India due to several factor ranging from pricing to handset availability coverage etc.
Experts believe that 4G tariff in India is going to be sky high when comparing with 3G all though its so premature to comment on the tariff prior any launch.
The main aim of 4G technology is to enable users with high speed mobile internet access, thus enabling several other features. Also other aim was to converge all the existing networks into one network. It’s truly going to be a technological evolution.
